Is there a way to expand "Table Preview" column width? I see that I can include/exclude columns, but they do not seem to be adjustable in size. Even if I hide all but one column, I still can't expand to view the full narrative. The table view is not useful if full disclosures are not visible. Please advise if there is a workaround I'm missing. Thank you.

Allison Vanderspool - Thanks for sharing your feedback! I completely understand how important it is to view the full narrative in your disclosures for that table to actually be useful.

I confirmed the same behavior on my end, and unfortunately, there is currently no workaround to adjust the column widths. However, I have already escalated this to our Product team to review as a potential bug or future improvement. I’ll keep you posted right here as soon as we have an update from the team. Thanks for helping us make the platform better!

We still find the collaborative functionality better in a document rather than Workiva's CDP questionnaire. We downloaded a word document of our CDP questionnaire & uploaded it to Workiva to source link content from our existing documents. We're also utilizing processes to assign the various sections of the document & overarching document reviews needed later on. We've also created standard CDP data collection templates & tables in our factbook that are linked in the document & automatically update once the data is finalized & published. Our plan is to copy & paste the final content into Workiva's CDP questionnaire to then push to CDP's ORS. It is helpful to have CDP in the system to check dropdowns, what questions unlock, built-in guidance, etc., but I don't think we'll fully utilize Workiva's CDP questionnaire for ALL content/data creation until it can pull tagged content into the form & have more collaboration.

Allison Vanderspool Great news, the product team is able to adjust column widths and is looking to have this available to you within the week! Thanks again for flagging this! Feedback like yours is what helps us continually improve the platform!

Jessica Davis Thank you for sharing how your team approaches the CDP questionnaire! It’s great to hear how effectively you are utilizing source linking, Factbooks, and Processes to manage your overarching reviews and data collection. That said, we completely understand your desire to see better collaborative functionality and native content tagging directly within the Workiva CDP questionnaire itself. I will pass your insightful feedback along to our Product team to help guide our roadmap for future enhancements. Thanks for being such a collaborative partner with us!

Thanks Carrie for the good news about column width expansion in the preview tables! Can you also please confirm when the report export function will be available (mentioned during Workiva's recent CDP webinar)? This is critical for our review process, especially to ensure no changes are made after we reviewers approve our disclosures. Since there isn't a track changes feature built into the CDP questionnaire (that's in all other Workiva documents/spreadsheets, etc.), I think the export report feature followed by a Word to Word or pfd to pdf blackline (depending on format Workiva provides) is the only way for me to prove no changes were made between final review and upload to CDP. If you have other suggestions for how users can complete this check for internal audit controls, please let me know. Thanks!

I have more great news for you, Allison Vanderspool, the Export to Document function is officially available today!

You can try it out right away. Please check out the Help article, which describes the step-by-step process to set up and request your first export to a Workiva Document.

As for your review process, exporting the report to run a Workiva Document to Document blackline is actually a spot-on approach to satisfy internal audit controls and verify that no text was altered! To add an extra layer of protection, you can also adjust user permissions on the questionnaire to read-only/viewer per module as soon as your reviewers give their final approval so no accidental edits can occur before submission. I hope this new export feature makes your final review process much smoother!
