In Workiva, use a Filing Workspace to organize your filing documents in a Home folder to prepare for filing.
Organize files in a workspace
Before you begin:
- Make sure you are using a Filing Workspace.
- Use folders to organize your filing documents.

Start a filing
After organizing the filing documents in a Filing Workspace, you can start your filing from Home.
To start a filing:
- From Home, click the Create icon.
- Select Filing.
- Provide a filing name and enter other details about your filing. When you've entered all information, click Create Filing.
