From the simplified Workiva Tasks experience, collaborators can view and complete certain types of tasks in a single place without having to navigate through the Workiva platform. This streamlines the experience for collaborators who only need to complete tasks and may not need to use other Workiva features.
Note: Currently, the only types of tasks you can view and complete in Workiva Tasks are certification actions, metric value tasks (as part of Sustainability Programs), and GRC request tasks.
Note: You don’t need a special role in order to complete your assigned tasks.
View tasks
To open Workiva Tasks, go to the relevant URL:
- North America customers: https://app.wdesk.com/tasks
- EMEA customers: https://eu.wdesk.com/tasks
- APAC customers: https://apac.wdesk.com/tasks
You can then click on a task in the left-hand panel to view its details. To more easily find a task, you can search for the task in the search bar, sort the list of tasks, or apply filters on the task list.
You can also open up a specific task in Workiva Tasks from its email notification or by clicking on it in Home.
To access a task without needing to sign in, Org Workspace Admins or Org Security Admins can allow email link authentication in the Workspace Settings.
Complete tasks
You can currently complete certification actions, metric value tasks (as part of Sustainability Programs), and GRC request tasks in Workiva Tasks. Refer to the following table for more information on how to complete the different types of tasks.
