    Hi Deborah Allen

Which taxonomy are you wanting to use it for?

Following this....interesting that there is nothing about the taxonomy in this tutorial:  Using Historical Data Roll Forward – Support Center

    Hello Isabel Messore,

Q2 2025 taxonomy was US GAAP 2024, and this year is SPAC 2025Q3. Is there a way to bring last year's data with a different taxonomy?

    Hi Deborah Allen

Gotcha. We do not have the SPAC taxonomy configured with HDRF... To be sure, are you intentionally on the SPAC taxonomy? We've have had some users accidently migrate to that so just wanted to double check!

Not intentionally using SPAC taxonomy! How do I migrate back to US GAAP? I just submitted a support ticket asking this question.

Thanks for sharing your feedback here, Deborah. We are to help get you migrated back.

To perform this action, you'd need to first migrate the XBRL Profile back to US GAAP 2025 to then migrate to the US GAAP 2026. First, click on the XBRL Profile > Actions > Use a Different Profile. In the pop up box - select the Filter icon > Ensure the "Archived Profiles" and/or "Profiles from other Documents" is selected. You should see a recent US GAAP 2025 there in the list for the file type to select and then Select Profile, it will ask you to Unarchive, hit the button, and then Apply. This action will bring back to old profile to migrate to the updated 2026 version. Note: you will want to archive the incorrect SPAC US GAAP 2025 profile.

Then, once the US GAAP 2025 is applied, click on the XBRL Profile then Actions > Migrate Profile Taxonomy. Be sure to choose the new taxonomy to migrate to. Workiva will copy and apply it, archiving the old profile and at this point you should be able to select the US GAAP 2026 and Migrate. Here are some articles to assist you.

Let us know if you have any follow-ups!
