  A recent release to the Workiva platform has made Outline Lists available. More info can be found here on our Help site.

  Hello and welcome to the community, Thibault!

  Thanks for the question. Unfortunately at this time you cannot automate a sub-item numbered list, such 1.1, 1.2, or 1.1.1, 1.1.2, etc. The only way would be to use a suffix, but you'd still need to manually enter those values for the lists.

  That being said, we've seen a few requests for this feature set and I'm happy to add your use case for consideration. In the meantime, I'd definitely encourage any other passers by to share their two cents and/or give this suggestion a vote.

  Great news, Thibault! This enhancement request has been moved onto our future roadmap. No set timeline as of yet for when, but this is a step in all the right directions. We'll keep taking requests here as well and will keep you updated. Thanks as always and have an awesome day!

  This is still in progress but we are getting close to releasing this feature. I'd say you can expect it within the new few months! I'll be sure to add you to our update list so that you'll be notified once it's released!
