    One of the biggest changes for our team over the past year has been implementing Wdata. Having our data connected and easier to manage has helped simplify a lot of our processes and reduced the time spent tracking down information.

    We've also been using the certification process for years, and it's become a key part of how we manage reviews and approvals. It gives our team confidence that the right people have reviewed the right information before it's finalized.

    While these may not seem like flashy innovations, they've made a meaningful difference in how efficiently we work and collaborate. We're looking forward to continuing to explore new way to get eve more value from the platform.

    We’ve significantly improved data integrity and efficiency by centralizing reporting and leveraging linked data across documents. Updates now cascade automatically, which has reduced errors and eliminated repetitive validation work. 
     
    We’re exploring ways to layer in AI for variance analysis and narrative generation, freeing up time for higher-value FP&A insights. We believe to have an impact on faster reporting cycles, fewer errors and rework, and more time spent on analysis vs. data preparation with layering AI.

    Great event, and I usually remote in—Workiva Amplify continues to deliver on connected reporting, collaboration, and control. Always valuable to hear how others are driving efficiency and audit-readiness through the platform.

    • Workiva has immensely helped us improve accuracy, completeness, and efficiency through linked data to automate updates. We've even moved IR into Workiva to help automate their updates with linked data across documents as well. 
    • We have found creative uses of Workiva Sync to save hours of manual work that previously existed in outside Excel workbooks.
    • The tie-out feature in Workiva helped us reduce manual updates in PDF outside of Workiva, more efficiently track updates in new drafts, and streamline review within the platform
    • We do quarterly certification tasks in Workiva, which has been a very streamlined, repeatable process 

    Our team looks forward to continue exploring even more ways that the platform can add value to our processes.

    As a reporting tool, Workiva includes many in-built functionalities and while our teams have historically housed our processes outside of the platform, we are excited to incorporate more and more as time moves along. We're greatly looking forward to the enhanced AI capabilities and what that will bring.

    I actually learned a lot about innovation with Workiva through the Amplify conference. One of the most valuable experiences was connecting with professionals from different companies and teams and learning how they use the platform.

    I was particularly interested in hearing how organizations integrate and sync data from multiple ERP systems into Workiva to streamline reporting and improve data consistency. I also learned more about capabilities such as Workiva Sync, Wdata, and Intelligent Finance, which highlighted new ways to automate data flows and reduce manual effort.

    The conference broadened my perspective on how Workiva can support more connected, efficient, and scalable reporting processes, and it gave me several ideas to explore within my own team.

    I feel as though attending Amplify has had a great impact on my bank's innovation and efficiency in our internal and external financial reporting. Each year I come back to my team with ideas of where we can further integrate Workiva automation into our approach. 

    Since Amplify 2025 we have started to test out certain aspects of Intelligent Finance and have also automated several monthly or quarterly tasks into Workiva that previously were more manual, resulting in a savings of several hours per quarter. We also strive to link any analysis, memo, slide deck, etc. that has numbers that can be linked to other source documents within our Workiva environment, so each quarter we brainstorm as a team on additional ways to automate.
