Adding shapes in Docs
已完成I would like to add a few circles and boxes to my earnings release. Can I add that shape and put it over a table?

Hello all!
You might have already seen, but earlier in Q3 the functionality for free-form shapes in Documents was added as part of the Designed Reporting feature extension. To fully access, you may need to contact your CSM or PSM. Here's some additional documentation on the enhancement as well but do let us know what questions you have have. Currently, the only document that support free flowing shapes is Presentations, both classic and next gen. If your earnings release were drafted in that document format, then you would be able to add circles and/or boxes on top of your tabular data. The ability to add shapes to non-Presentations is something our Product Team is considering, so I've made sure to pass your request along.

This is an idea I've submitted this year at Amplify. This is something I'm hoping will be available in the future as it would significantly lesson the commentary we include in our Whitepapers.
1Chiming in that this is an excellent suggestion, one of the few things we seriously lament isn't available in Wdesk as we've migrated from our previous solution. Hoping to see this in a future release soon!

0It would be like to have the capability of adding flowcharts/shapes to the documents. The current nip and paste image/flowcharts can be blurry. Thanks and happy holidays.

As far as movement, the good news is that this enhancement is on the future roadmap, however, the timeline is yet to be determined. We'll continue to keep taking requests here and will definitely keep you updated.

As noted here, today these functions are available for ESEF and ESG solutions. Our product team is working on expanding those features for other solutions, including SEC and Financial Reporting types. That said, they are still working through some solution specific requirements and any pricing and packing. We'd expect this be available for non-SEC types first (EDGAR has some extra considerations) with possible beta access for those solutions. I'd suggestion you connect with your CSM on your specific use case for more info. In the meantime, I've shared your interest with our product team for their added consideration and we'll continue to keep this post updated on new developments.
