Mark as complete - Processes

Hello, 

We are using the workiva process functionality to collect internal support, and some of the people who provide the support aren't frequent workiva users. Is there a way to mark an action complete on their behalf? We want to maintain them as the owner for visibility/tracking, but it would be helpful if we could mark a task as done as the process owner so they don't need to log in. I was looking at the cancel option, but I couldn't tell if it would cause issues rolling the task forward in future quarters.
