On September 14, 2026, the SEC has scheduled an update for EDGAR Release 26.3 which will introduce updated validation messages and will move technical XBRL submission details from the EDGAR Filer Manual (Volume II) to the EDGAR XBRL Guide. 

As part of this release, the 2024 versions of taxonomies will no longer be accepted in the EDGAR system. Please see the SEC Taxonomies page for a complete listing of supported standard taxonomies.
