Resetting your CCC and password
If you do need to reset your CCC and Phrase, here’s what Workiva recommends to minimize disruption:
- Check that your contacts are up to date within the legacy EDGAR profile to ensure the appropriate person gets emails in the update process
- Keep your CCC value the same, if possible, to avoid extra steps.
- If your CCC does change:
- Update the new CCC in Workiva to store it on the platform
- Share the new CCC with any other filing entities who will file on your behalf
- The CCC will also be reset upon enrollment in EDGAR Next. For this reason you may want to update right before enrolling to prevent having to share updated CCCs multiple times.

UPDATE: based on how your CCC and passphrase are saved within the new EDGAR Next system, if a filer has not reset its CCC and/or passphrase since September 2019, that filer must reset those codes prior to enrolling in EDGAR Next. Furthermore, it is allowable to reset these values to your current values, i.e. you can keep the same CC and passphrase.
