Great news! The 2024 annual taxonomy update is now available in the Workiva Platform and has been enabled on all FERC-related Workspaces. This new taxonomy is effective for first quarter 2024 filings (for Forms 1, 2, and 6) as well as fourth quarter 2023 filings for Forms 60 and 714. The new taxonomies are named FERC Form 1 2024, FERC Form 2 2024, FERC Form 6 2024, FERC Form 60 2024, FERC Form 714 2024 and you can find additional information about the taxonomies on the FERC eForms Taxonomy History page.

This update includes corrections for some validation rules and viewer changes, as well as any needed changes in the related codesets.

Should you have a service engagement with Workiva, your Professional Services Manager will discuss migrating your FERC Forms to the latest 2024 version as needed. Should you want to migrate yourself, please refer to the following Help article for additional support on performing this migration.

As a reminder, in order to successfully file to FERC, the updated 2024 Taxonomy is required for ALL 2024 Quarterly Filings, as well as the 2023 Annual Filing for Forms 60 and 714. Any resubmissions must continue to use the original Taxonomy for the given form, as provided by the FERC Taxonomy History page.
