Page number in footers stopped continuing
답변함Have footer properties as "Inherit from previous section" and "continue number from previous section." Halfway down the document, the page numbers start at 1 again.

Let's try changing "continue number from the previous section" to "restart section numbering" and change the field to the correct number that you are wanting to be displayed. I have also included a help article here to help you through page numbers.
Please let me know if you are still experiencing problems after trying this fix!

Hi I have found that if I have many small sections in one page (for example if each section is only a paragraph and so you may have 4, 5 or even 6 sections in one page), theoretically is each section is set as "same as previous" and "continue number from previous section" the formatting should follow through all the sections in the same page to the end of the page. But this does not work sometimes. But if I go in each section and turn the "same as previous" off and on then it seems to re-set it. Not sure if it is some kind of system quirk or just me. Anyone else have experienced this?

I'm having the same issue. Seems the first time it happened and won't "re-set" once I turn on/off "same as previous". I had to do what Regan recommended to hard code the page number for a start. Don't love that as a solution.
