Attachment Permissions

Is there a way to use permissions to limit who can see attachments that are uploaded in a document? Our document is sent out to many users throughout the organization to review and provide feedback, but we don't want them to be able to see or access attachments.

I did notice there's a "hide attachments" feature on the View tab, is there a way to make set the default to hide?

Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for your patience on this. Apologies for my delay in seeing your question. I did a little digging with our experts and it was recommended to use Send For Review and exclude the attachments. This would limit what they can see and do in your live file. The "Hide attachments" feature only hides the visual indicators.
