Hi Marcel Horkovy and welcome to the Community!

For things we do not have a branded connector for, you can use the HTTP Connector.

Here's an example endpoint from Databricks API documentation that would allow you to execute SQL against your database; you'd utilize this endpoint with our HTTP connector.  Subsequent Chain commands would download the generated file and move into whatever data flow you'd need within our environment.

A quick disclaimer that this isn't a guarantee of the endpoint you'd use (it might be one of several and you'd need to go through the authentication process first) but just to get you researching into Databricks API documentation!

Hi! Are there any plans for Databricks connector in near future?

Is JDBC connector a better option compared to HTTP one when connecting to Databricks to pull data using simple SQL?

Hi Ott Jalakas, the product team is always looking at ways to improve and enhance the platform. At this time, there is not an update on a Databricks specific Connector.

You may potentially be able to use the JDBC Connector along with Databricks JDBC Driver instead of the Databricks API. This will also require that you install a GroundRunner.
