Hi Scripting early adopters,

I am excited to announce awaited updates for Workiva Scripting based on the valuable feedback we have received from our early adopter users.

Our team has been working hard to implement these updates, and we are confident that they will enhance your experience with our product.

• Automations panel updates. Input parameter sheets are now optional and we’ve made it even easier for you to read inputs from your script code, saving you and your customers more time. Check out the video below where I talk about these updates

• Activities. Workspace owners can now see Workiva Scripting activities in the workspace activities view. Scripting activities include script created, viewed, and updated activities, script source updated activities, and script run created activities. Check the demo video below

• Permissions. Workiva Scripting file permissions are now being enforced. You right-click on the Workiva script in the home experience and you can choose who can own, edit, and view the script.

Soon, users will be notified of the run status of the script, and we will make it easier for you to manage credentials from your code.

We greatly appreciate all the feedback that you have shared with us, as it has helped us identify areas where we can improve and better meet your needs. Do you want to get more involved?
