The SEC announced the scheduled technical update to EDGAR to upgrade to V25.3 on Monday, October 13, 2025. This update also includes the support of the 2025Q3 SPAC taxonomy with improvements from filer suggestions. The technical changes and validations related to this release have been updated in the Workiva platform. 

The 2025Q3 SPAC taxonomy is now available within our platform and is recommended to use in compliance with the SPAC iXBRL requirements as discussed in this prior article. Please see the standard taxonomies page for a complete listing of SEC supported taxonomies. 

This technical update also now allows filers using the ECD taxonomy to use any us-gaap, ifrs or srt net income (loss) concept for Pay-vs-Performance (PVP) disclosures to match the net income tag used in the filer's annual report. Please see the help article for Using Borrowed Concepts in ECD filings for information on how to update the net income (loss) concept in related proxies that contain the PVP disclosures.
