I recently had it come up that whenever a user uploads a PDF file that already has items highlighted within it, whenever we try open that PDF in the markup viewer, the highlight actually covers and hides the amount, instead of highlighting it. Support said that all markup would need to be removed before uploading to Workiva in order for it to be viewed properly. I'm not sure why this system limitation exists, but is this something that can be looked into? Other services, like auditboard, don't have this issue and any marking within the PDF show up just as they normally would. We have a lot of business units and they do tend to highlight and markup their pdf's. We cannot expect them to go in and undo all of that. Any help is appreciated!
