On June 16, 2025, the SEC has scheduled an update for EDGAR Release 25.2 which will introduce updated validation messages and also accept the 2025 IFRS taxonomy. As part of this release, the 2023 versions of taxonomies will no longer be accepted in the EDGAR system. Please see the SEC Taxonomies page for a complete listing of supported standard taxonomies.

The Workiva Product Team is working to add support for the 2025 versions of the IFRS taxonomy. The 2025 IFRS Taxonomy will include two entry points within the Workiva platform.

One entry point will be tailored for continued presentation and disclosure in accordance with IAS 1 Presentation of Financial Statements and the other for early application of IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements. Additional communication will be made when these updated taxonomies are ready for use.
