Data Variance report now available in Analytics dashboard
Review the quality of your YoY data with the new Data Variance report. Select the years, dimensions, and metrics you want to view and compare in a matrix table. This report also includes a metric for Emissions % Change to help you spot instances of high variability for the date ranges you select.
Chains
OAuth2 authentication added to Workday connector
The Workday connector now supports both Basic and OAuth2 authentication protocols.

Documents
A cleaner Workspace
We’ve introduced subtle updates to the document and presentation interface to provide a more modern, focused workspace.
- Refined Backgrounds: A modernized background color for Documents and Presentations improves visual comfort.
- Modernized Dividers: Document dividers have been updated with a cleaner aesthetic to better define your workspace without distraction.
Charts updated to v11
The service which provides charts in Workiva Documents and Presentations has been updated to the latest version. This change will permit Workiva to support new chart capabilities in the future. Current charts will not be affected.
Object Select Mode in Documents
You can now quickly select many floating objects in one click-n-drag using Object Select Mode in Documents. Once selected, you can easily move, resize, align, copy, and/or apply object settings at once. This greatly speeds up Designer workflow and reduces design quality risk.
This feature is now available in Documents for any workspace with access to Design Reporting.

To get started:
- Select right-click and select Object Select Mode.
- Windows Shortcut: CTRL+Shift+S
- Mac Shortcut: Command+Shift+S
- Click and drag on the page; any object within the selection range will be selected.
- To exit this mode, press Escape on your keyboard (or right-click and re-click Object Select Mode)

Processes
Announcing Workiva Calendars!
Bring your tasks, filing dates, and key events together using Workiva Calendars to help manage your team's work and stay ahead of deadlines. This new experience offers a dedicated space for viewing important dates and creating your own events for your planning needs. Learn more by going to our Calendars articles.
Note: Workiva Calendars and Calendar-related features (such as using business days in processes) are currently only available in our Financial Reporting and Financial Services solutions.
UI Improvements: Processes has a new look with new features!
Processes now has a new tab layout, left-hand panel, and additional features like action grouping and the ability to create a process via file to help you successfully build and start processes for your needs. Learn more by going to our Processes articles.
Additionally, for our Financial Reporting and Financial Services solutions, we've added a Calendar view (see above), the ability to configure business days process templates, process monitoring charts and insights, and helpful information in a process copy summary card when you roll forward a process.
Note: If you want to go back to the old Processes design, you can turn off these new features in the process settings until June 29th, 2026.
Sustainability
Explore versions of content in Sustainability Explorer
From Sustainability Explorer, you can now browse specific versions of a standard or questionnaire from the Frameworks panel:
- Current, for the active reporting year's content
- Pending, to enable proactive preparation or early adoption of upcoming revisions
- Archived, for historical reference of previous content
For additional clarity:
- From the Frameworks panel, you can review notes about each version, including any updates made to its content, such as to correct typos or provide additional context.
- From Sustainability Program, you can view whether a metric's related Explorer content includes an archived version, and view its connected current versions.

Update DMA templates for simplified ESRS
If your Sustainability Reporting workspace includes the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) add-on and you want to prepare your double-materiality assessment (DMA) templates for the topics of the simplified European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), you can now request a Spreadsheet template from your Customer Success Manager or advisory partner:
- To start fresh for the simplified ESRS and not retain your DMA templates' current topics, request the Simplified DMA topics and DRs bulk import Spreadsheet to import the new topics and disclosure requirements (DRs).
- If you previously used the DMA templates for the ESRS Delegated Act of 2023 and want to retain their current topics, request the Simplified DMA topics and DR update accelerator Spreadsheet to decide how your current topics map to the new topics.
Consult your advisory partner to help decide which template is right for you. Your partner can also assist if you choose to update your DMA templates' current topics or their impacts, risks, and opportunities (IROs).

View completed metric values when connected sources change
For added data integrity, the Sustainability Program no longer automatically updates Completed metric values when their connected sources change. If a source value changes, notifications now appear on its connected metric and the source file's Sustainability panel. From Program settings, a Program Owner can also enable additional email notifications to Program Owners and Task Owners.
To quickly identify Completed values that differ from their connected source values, you can now run a Health check from Program overview in Sustainability Program.
Important: To update a Completed metric value with its changed source value, first reset the value or reopen its task.
