Workspace Owners and Org Workspace Admins can set workspace defaults for Filing. Typically, you’ll set defaults when you initially create and set up a workspace. You can also manage mutual funds within the Filing settings.
Note: To set filing defaults, the workspace needs to be set as a SEC/SEDAR Reporting solution.
Set filing defaults
Filing defaults you set will automatically load for the filing.
To set filing defaults:
- In the top right, click your workspace name and select Settings to open the Workspace Settings.
- From the Filing tab, enter details for the filing defaults.
You can enter information for the following default settings:- Stock exchange*
- Ticker symbol*
- Central Index Key (CIK)*
- CIK Confirmation Code
- Accelerated Filer Status*
- Additional settings
- Default SEC contact emails
*These fields are required
- Click Save Changes and confirm you’d like to save your changes.
Manage mutual funds
If a new or updated Series or Class ID in Filing is not displaying correctly, you can refresh that ID from Workspace Settings using the Central Index Key (CIK).
- In Workspace Settings, go to the Filing tab.
- Choose the Mutual Funds section
- Click Import and choose From SEC in the dropdown.
- In the Series/Class information, enter the CIK requiring an update, then click Add.
The selected CIK should now show the updated Series/Class information.
