ESG
CDP 2024 updated with scoring criteria, tags, and related content
If your ESG Explorer includes CDP 2024, its content now includes the scoring criteria guidance and tags from CDP for each question — in addition to the response options available in the CDP Portal — to help ensure appropriate responses based on industry and environmental issue. In addition, for some questions, you can view related content from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
For more information, see Respond to CDP 2024 for ESG reporting.
Download multiple supporting attachments from ESG Program
From ESG Program, you can select Download metric attachments to save a ZIP file that includes the files uploaded as supporting attachments for a reporting year, such as to fulfill an audit request. You can choose to include all or specific attachments for values from across the ESG Program or within a single metric or topic.
The ZIP file includes only files uploaded for supporting attachments — no reference attachments, or Workiva files or web addresses added as supporting attachments.
To learn more, see Manage ESG Program metric attachments.
Documents
Fixed: Line spacing now syncing properly
Line spacing now syncs properly when two users are editing the Line Spacing settings for the same line at the same time. Prior to this update, if users were simultaneously editing, one of the user's settings was not refreshing in the Paragraph Properties panel. For example, if User 1 changed the spacing to a custom line spacing, User 2 would see changes applied to the content, but they wouldn't see the new custom value in the Paragraph Properties panel. This is now fixed to properly show the latest value in the panel for both users at the same time.
Use style guide overlays
Style guide overlay visualizes the styles applied to text using color-coding. This specific release highlights text that has explicit formatting that deviates from the style applied to it. This helps with reviews to ensure any deviations from defined styles are visible for approval.
To enable the overlay, go to View and select Show Overlay in the toolbar (or use the shortcut: Ctrl/Command + 0). Within the Overlay dropdown menu and select Text Style Override. The right panel will map the "overridden" and "not overridden" options by color. You can switch between text style and override overlay using the dropdown in the panel.
Documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
Filter selection auto-clears on search
The filter selection is automatically cleared when using the search field in a filter.
Use outline lists
Outline lists are now available and allow for legal, six-sigma, or other multilevel lists. Outline lists allow you to order complex information, often in headings across large documents. These list options are available in the Numbered list dropdown within documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. You can leverage the style guide to create other types of outline lists beyond 1, 1.1, 1.1.1 legal style numbering.
There are additional related improvements coming soon, such as the connection of a list style/level to a heading or paragraph, legal style numbering, and the number of digits within numbered lists (Ex: 01,001). Connecting a list style will make it easier to consistently apply lists to headings across the entire document.

Internationalization
New languages available
Italian and Portuguese (Portugal) are now supported languages in Workiva and available for all users. See Introduction to internationalization in Workiva for more information.
