Access to the Workiva Mobile app and certain Workiva Mobile features are managed through the Organization Admin screen in the Workiva web platform. An Org Security Admin at your company can grant access to the entire organization, enable access on a per-workspace basis, or choose whether or not to allow users to save PDFs to their device from the Workiva Mobile app.
Requirements
- Only an Org Security Admin can manage Workiva Mobile app access and certain features.
Grant access to the mobile app
To grant access to the Workiva Mobile app:
- From the profile menu, select Settings, then Organization admin.
- From the Overview page, go to the Configuration tab.
- Click Mobile to see a list of all workspaces in the organization.
- Select all workspaces where you want to grant access to the mobile app. Select the checkbox next to Workspace Name to select all.
- Click Save changes.
Remove access to the mobile app
To remove access to the Workiva mobile app:
- From the profile menu, select Settings, then Organization admin.
- From the Overview page, go to the Configuration tab.
- Click Mobile to see a list of all workspaces in the organization.
- Deselect all workspaces where you want to remove access to the mobile app. Use the checkbox next to Workspace Name to select then deselect all.
- Click Save changes.
Manage the ability to save PDFs to device
To manage whether or not users with Workiva Mobile access can save PDFs to their device from the mobile app:
- From the profile menu, select Settings, then Organization admin.
- From the Overview page, go to the Configuration tab.
- Click Mobile to see the Mobile Module Settings.
- Check or uncheck the Allow saving files to device option to manage this feature for the users with Workiva Mobile access.
- Click Save changes.
