A recent release to the Workiva Platform included improvements to the following products and features:

Designed Reporting

Truncated textbox indicator

A new indicator now displays when text in a textbox is cut-off (partially or completely) by the edge of the textbox in Documents. This simplifies the process of locating textboxes that need to be adjusted in order to ensure content is not clipped. For more information, view Insert floating objects.

Textboxes in Presentations allow text to flow outside of the textbox.

Note: This is only available in Workspaces with the Designed Reporting Extension. Contact your CSM for more information.

ESG

Streamlined units of measurement for ESG Program metrics

For easier data collection with Workiva's ESG Reporting solution, ESG Program metrics that collect number, currency, or percent values now offer only commonly used units of measurement by default. You can also enter a custom unit of measurement for a metric as necessary.

View 2023-06 revisions to SASB Standards in ESG Explorer

If you use Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards for ESG reporting, ESG Explorer now includes the 2023-06 revisions from the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation. As these revisions go into effect starting January 1, 2024, they appear as Pending in ESG Explorer. You can refer to a pending version from SASB's outline in the Frameworks panel or the History panel of its current version.

Include spreadsheets and testing matrices import options

You can now include testing matrices and embedded spreadsheets when importing test phases.

When importing phases through the Add button in the outline, there will be a new modal with options to include or exclude testing matrices and embedded spreadsheets. The copied testing matrix will not include any testing results or attachments.

Process

Bulk apply tags

Users will now have the ability to bulk apply tags on multiple actions. For more information, read Categorize actions using tags.

Section 16

Duplicate transaction

Section 16 now includes a new menu item in the transaction table, named Duplicate.

This option helps expedite the creation of transactions. When the user chooses Duplicate a dialog appears that asks how many duplicates they would like to create.

Wdata

Select all for multi-select parameters

This release allows you to select or unselect all possible values in a parameter pick list to make a process of a query setup easier.
