Access Workiva AI
Open Workiva AI any time while you're working in a presentation:
- Click the Workiva AI sparkles icon at the top of the screen.
- Write your own prompt or browse the prompt advisor.

Workiva AI answers a broad range of general questions by default. You can also add a knowledge base: a collection of reports, documents, and other content that Workiva AI references when answering questions about your business. Adding one gives Workiva AI more context, so its responses reflect the work your team does every day.

Add workspace files
Workiva AI can reference specific files in your workspace to draw in context from outside your presentation. This helps when you're building slides from data or narrative that lives in another file.

Insert content into your presentation
When you receive a response from Workiva AI, you can insert the content directly into your presentation. First, place your cursor in the text box on the slide where you want the content to go. Then click Insert underneath the response.
You can also click Copy instead. This copies the response so you can paste it somewhere else.
When a response includes structured content, such as tables, formulas, or multiple options, each item may have its own Insert and Copy option.
