To be able to assign someone a content request or task in Processes, does the person have to have a Workiva license?
Further, does it have to be a "standard" license if the person is expected to contribute content, or can "starter" license also contribute content?

To answer your first question, yes the person would have to be a part of a Workiva license to have a task or content request assigned to them within Processes.
As for your second question, a starter license can contribute content if they hold the editor role which is assigned at the workspace level.
