Unable to Compare DOCX - NextGen vs Classic
When trying to compare a NextGen Documents exported to DOCX to a Classics Documents printed to DOCX it causes Microsoft Word to crash. I.e. Q1 2020 was filed using Classic Documents and we migrated Q2 2020 to NextGen, if we export Footnote 10 in both documents then try to run a compare in Microsoft Word we are unable to do so. Anyone else experience this? We are unable to use Blackline in Wdesk since trying to compare two separate documents not different versions of the document.

Thanks for the question. I can certainly see your frustration there and quite a conundrum. I brought this up to our team here and they had a few suggestions while they dig a little deeper. Curious, have you tried this options?
- Save both files to .doc and then back to .docx, and/or;
- Doing a PDF compare instead
