Deleting a table in nextgen document

Lena L Thanks very much for the tip to put your cursor before the table and then hit delete. It finally worked after I wasted 10 minutes of working through the issue.
NextGen Team - Lena L's tip was from 7 months ago. Can options to right click and delete an entire table not be added a bit quicker than this? I should have had an option straight away to delete the table, not just a row or a column. Thanks.

I had the same issue, but figured out what I was doing wrong. Perhaps this will help some. I found I couldn't be inside the table when I started my mouse drag to select for delete. So, if you click on a cell of the table and then highlight all the cells, delete will not work. You must start your mouse drag outside the table and drag across the table. The table will look different when selected via this method. I now understand that is probably what some were saying on here, it just wasn't registering with me that is what we had to do.
Apologies to all if this insults intelligence. I spent about 30 minutes trying to delete a table via all this, highlighting it over and over. I am a newbie to wdesk and learning rapidly.
