Split to new section
已回覆Hi, I have seen previous posts about splitting a long section into multiple, more straightforward sections. This seems a great time saver on long documents then creating lots of sections and copying and pasting bit by bit.
However, I cannot find this tool? Is it still there? Is there some fast and easy way to split a document in one big section into many smaller sections?

The split to new section tool should be a right-click option. If you place your cursor by where you want to split and right-click, you should get this:

Mike Davis - This does not show up when I right-click in my section. Any idea why?

Hi Jason!
That is odd indeed. My only thought might be what permission you have in that file or even that section itself. For example, if you had Viewer permission to that, the option is not there, even if you had Editor or even Owner to the remainder of the file.
