  Hi Daniela Smits, 

  Workiva does not support true "global groups" that automatically apply across all workspaces. Groups in Workiva are workspace-specific.

  • Groups exist at the workspace level and must be created and managed per workspace
  • Workspace Owners and Content Managers can create and manage groups
  • Every workspace has a default All Users group (do not delete or modify this one)

  While there are no true global groups, an Org Admin or Workspace Admin can enable the "Share workspace" setting:
  

  • This allows users in other workspaces to search for and share datasets with groups in your workspace
  • Find it under Workspace Settings → General tab

  At the organization level, roles serve a similar purpose for admins - provididing org-wide administrative coverage.
  

  • Org User Admin — manages users across the org
  • Org Workspace Admin — manages all workspaces, settings, members, roles, and groups
