Compare 10-K to 10-Q
Besides exporting to a word doc and doing a compare in word, is there any new way to compare paragraphs from our previous 10-Q to our 10-K within Workiva?

if you select two documents from the workspace home page, there should be an option to run a blackline between them. Although this might be something that has to be specifically enabled for you - last I heard it was still in beta. And it would be for the whole document, not just specific paragraphs.

Is it only possible to blackline two different documents from the home page if they are saved together in the same folder? I don't see any option to choose any documents for the compare outside of the folder in which the base document is saved. Thanks

If you click the blackline button from the home page under 'Recent Files', looks like there will be dropdown menus where you can select any document you want

This works great! I see now that it works best to select the two documents by checking the boxes in the Recent Files section and then choose Blackline. Thanks!
