In-line track changes in Next Gen documents
已完成We just migrated to Next Gen and was very disappointed to see that in-line track changes is no longer a functionality. The track changes panel is very clunky and confusing. If someone were to delete a paragraph including linked numbers, the track changes panel will break that paragraph into several review boxes, creating a very confusing process.
Are there plans to implement this change in Next Gen?

We have heard similar feedback about missing inline track changes, and the good news is our Product Team is currently developing that enhancement. The lift for this release is somewhat challenging and they are working hard towards releasing that this quarter, but the efforts may carry into Q1 2021. I've connected your feedback and request with our team internally so you can follow along with progress, but I'll also keep this post updated going forward.

I don't have a hard and fast date, but we are working towards a Q1 2021 release for inline track changes. As things progress, I'd expect to get a better of idea of when, and I'll be sure to keep this post updated.
