Placing a link to a Document within a Presentation
已回答I am creating a presentation and would like to know if I can place a link to a document within the presentation? Basically, I want the person reading the presentation (who does not have permission to edit the presentation or document) to select this link and it take them directly to the document so they are able to review the content without having to leave the presentation itself and search through folders to find the document.

Welcome to the Community, Kimberly!
Great question. The good news is I do have an answer for you.
Yes, you can insert a hyperlink to another document within your Presentation. Essentially if you copy and paste the URL you are looking at when you have the document in question open, you can copy that and paste it in as your hyperlink. The URL is specific to the section you are in as well.
Most commonly I see people having a text box with the text of 'Click here' or something that links to another Wdesk document. To do this, simply insert the text box and then select the text, right-click and choose Insert Hyperlink. From here, you can paste in the Web Address of the other Document and click Create.Let me know if this helps, or if I've missed the mark. Give me a holler too if you have any additional questions, or need anything else. Thanks again for your contributions and have a great rest of your day!
0Thanks for your help, Mike!! I was able to create a text box and insert a hyperlink. However, when I click on verbiage that houses the new hyperlink - it doesn't open the document. If I right click, it gives me the option to Edit Hyperlink or Remove Hyperlink. Any ideas on how to open the hyperlink once it's been added to the page? Or should I "edit hyperlink" and copy the link, then open a new tab and paste?
0No problem! Happy to help.
I'm realizing you might need to to a CTRL + Click (or CMMD + Click on Mac) on that link for it open. Let me know if that works.
