Next Gen documents - column break
I have transitioned a classic document to next gen document, however I am unable to apply column break to the content in next gen document, my section is a of 2 columns.

Hi there Sai! Welcome to the Community. Happy to answer this question as best I can.
I am able to see the option for a column break by first placing my cursor where I wan to break it at, then going to the Edit tab, Insert menu and selecting Column Break, like so:
