Default for text links

    Hi Manju!

I did some digging on this to see what was currently possible in Documents. Here's what I find.

You CAN set the default for numbers, i.e. that they should always be in Thousands, both in a Spreadsheet and in a Document. If you are linking from your Spreadsheet to text, then you values will always be in Thousands, and the same would be true for the values in tables. To set the defaults here, you would visit File > Properties and then Spreadsheet and/or Document Properties.

For percents, you can set the default as well, but there's a small caveat there. If you create a link for a new percentage value, when you go to the link formatting options on the right hand side, you can set your formatting to be the new default for percentages, which is at the bottom of the panel. Here's and example:

The caveat here is it seems you can't set the default for existing percentages, but it would be for all new ones created after this.

Does this help? Let me know what questions you have for me on the above or if you need anything else. Thanks much and have a great rest of your day!
