  Thanks for the question. The only way I can think of making the import Exhibit file non-editable would be to restrict permission on it. For example, when you import it, the file should take whatever  your account's default permissions are, plus leave you as the document Owner. As an Owner, you could edit the permissions so that none of the default permission groups or people have access, or restrict so they have Viewer access. 
  
  You could add any other Editors you want too. Does this achieve what you are looking for? Also note that anyone with Admin rights in your account can also grant themselves access to this file if they wanted. Let me know what questions you have for me or if you need anything else.
