Using website addresses in filings

    Hi Christie!

Thanks for the question. The answer is both yes and no, in this case. According to the EFM Vol. II, Sec. 5.2.2, no external references--except those going to SEC's public website--are allowed in EDGAR. So in that case, you cannot link to your company site within the EDGAR document. Doing so would cause your submission to be suspended.

However, you CAN simply have the text written out but not linked, which is the usual means of getting around this issue. You can also format the text to be blue and underlined, it just cannot be an active hyperlink. The only external references allowed in EDGAR are those that go to the SEC's public site, i.e. hyperlinks going to your previous filings such as your exhibits in your exhibit index.

Does that make sense? Let me know if you need me to clarify any of the above, or if you have any additional questions. Thanks again and have a great day in the meantime. Cheers!
