Need easier way to review link location (Document Links Report)
While the Document Links Report (DLR) and Linked Files Report are a great way to quickly identify files that are relied upon, our team would greatly appreciate a more efficient way to review individual links. For example, while the DLR "Location" column makes a high-level reference as to where the link resides (e.g. "text"), it requires the user to click a link and wait for that specific sheet/section to load. When reviewing many links, this can be laborious.
To that end, would it be possible to expand the scope of the Link Properties panel and add a filter? The goal would be to have the panel display 1) all links throughout the entire spreadsheet/document, 2) links within a specific sheet/section and finally 3) links for the current link/cell selected (this is the only option currently).
Again, while the reports are helpful, something that would allow a visual review within the actual spreadsheet or document would be more helpful.

I agree, although I assume the current limitations are for performance reasons. But, e.g., I've had times when I know there is a link *somewhere* in a given section, but combing through the section (in this case, in a Designed Reporting document, making it harder to spot that wee green underline) I can't find it easily. At minimum, it would be nice to even just have a "jump to next/previous link" type feature so that wherever one places the cursor, the Link Properties sidebar allows you to jump from link to link.
0Hello,
Jon Neufeldt and Andrew McKenzie these are great ideas to improve the ability to locate links. Thank you for sharing!
I'll pass along your suggested solutions with our product team for consideration, and we'll keep you updated as it moves forward.
Have a great weekend!
