Rounding with different dollar values
已回答I have one document that is in whole dollars and linking it to another document that will be in thousands. During this process, we have come across footing issues. I started using the "round" formula which will allow it foot but came across other rounding/footing issues in charts that are linked to this data.
What is the best practices for rounding the same numbers with charts with different dollar amounts?

Hi Liz (what a great name 😉),
Thank you for your question! I'm thinking that a type of linking that we call "chain linking" could be helpful here. To chain link, you'll reference your desired source in another cell (sometimes users will create a new column for this, image below). Next, you'll round the value in the new cell to display in thousands. You'll then link the rounded cell to your destinations.
Hope this helps! If you still experience issues, please let us know. Charts can have settings that affect rounding, too. If the charts continue to display incorrectly, a screenshot or further description may help us provide some more suggestions.
Thank you!
