EDGAR Next filings and timing

We have to file press releases on a weekly basis. We want to enroll now on EDGAR next, but we are not sure how long the enrollment process will take. For example - If we create a Login.gov account today, will we still be able to file on the same day via EDGAR next? Is it still possible to continue with our filings with the normal process while simultaneously creating the Login.gov account or will our filing process be frozen until the Login.Gov process is complete and filers are added?

    Thanks for your question. Happy to help answer here.

    We've seen the process take minutes as long as you have all the credentials you need. Once everything is set up you can file today with EDGAR Next, but the legacy method will not get removed until September 15 so there's zero risk to try it out.
