Hello,

In Classic I was accustomed to being able to go in and find any version of a document by finding the document with the timestamp that I want. For example, I created a pdf for the Disclosure Committee yesterday at 3:55 pm, unfortunately, I forgot to mark it as a milestone. So, I went back today to do so, but there is only one version from yesterday and it was last saved at 5:28 pm. So, I am not able to retrieve the version that I saved at 3:55pm. This creates an issue since I will not be able to do a blackline to the exact version of the first draft sent compared to future drafts. Is this just how it is with Next Gen or is there a way to pull up exact timestamps that I am just missing? Also, how can you tell who made specific changes between versions if all of the changes for the day are all lumped together in one version for the whole day?

    Yes, I have missed this feature in Next Gen as well! When I look at the versions saved, it just shows all the names of people who published changes but I can't tell who made what changes. I would also heavily use the exact timestamp - for example, when I pulled a file down to review, I would mark the date and time so I could just blackline against that version to check any changes. Now I can only do that against milestones marked. Thanks!

    Hi Michelle!

    The History should lump together changes, by you or other users, under a drop down.You can blackline any of those versions from within the parent. Do you see something like this that may include your 3:55 pm edit?

    Oh yes! I was able to mark the 3:54pm version as a milestone and create a blackline against today. THANK YOU!!! :)

    Glad that worked. We can prolly do better at making this setting/functionality more apparent. As you might expect, I'm staring at these features all day. 😳

    Amanda Taylor does that drop down option shown above provide you more of what you are looking for?
