Wdesk Sync linking issues

Hello - 

I used Wdesk Sync to sync the data from external source into the workbook, which went well.  However, when I then tried to link such data to other sections within the workbook, it did not happen.  Can you please advise if it could be because I did not do it correctly somehow or this simply cannot be done?

    Hi James, thanks for reaching out, we definitely want to get this sorted so you can create links!

    Syncing into your Spreadsheet (or Workbook) with Wdesk Sync should not have an impact on your ability to then create links. Are you receiving the clipboard with the create link options when you paste the cells you're trying to link?

    Hi Rachael, I am having issues with one workbook, all the others of the same type worked fine.  I synced an excel into my workbook but the linking is not there.  I went to the document and it is not the same as my workbook.  I am not sure what I did different but some how I have messed it and I am not able to figure it out.
