Creating Links between Separate Documents that Vary in Type
I am trying to create links that connect information in a document to another document that is in a very different format/layout as the original document. I am trying to follow the instructions but the information that I highlight and then paste into the other document to become a link does not indicate the link to the original document. Any advice? I would love any feedback.

The best practice for linking is simply highlighting the text you would like to link across documents; right click and select "create source" link; and simply [Copy+Pasting] where you would like the destination text to reside. The source link will be blue and the destination link will be green. Reminder, the "source" text will be the only location the text can be updated.
