Formulas linked to sheets which are restricted

When formulas which are linked to restricted sheets are edited, they corrupt. Sometimes the formulas need to be adjusted slightly to include say a rounding. When this rounding cell is added to the formula, the result does not display if the team member does not have access to the sheet. 
Is there a solution to this?

    When you say restricted, I assume you mean no access to even view the sheet? I actually think I would prefer that the formula is corrupted in this case. Otherwise what would prevent someone who shouldn't have access to view the sheet contents changing a formula to include something they shouldn't see? I understand your situation is just rounding, but what if someone could update a formula to include restricted data? I think that defeats the purpose of restricting access the sheet. If you change their permissions to view only, does this still corrupt the formula?
