Ability for a table to break over a number of pages in Presentations
Could we please have functionality like in the Documents where a single table can break across mutlitple pages. We have to show detail in our Presentation packs that may increase/decrease in size, i.e. number of rows, depending on the data in the reporting period. Also the infomation in each row can change, so sometimes we can fit 10 rows on a page and other time only 2. We link this data to Wdata queries and have to relink every time the size of rows and amount of information change, as currently we can only have one table per page at the moment.

Happy to get this feature request created for you Jana Middleton!
1Currently, Workiva Presentations does not support automatic table breaking across multiple slides, including repeating header rows. This capability exists in Documents (where tables can break across pages), but it has not been extended to the Presentations file type. Our workaround is manually splitting large tables slide by slide and copy-pasting the header row onto each new slide, or shrinking font/row height to force everything onto one slide. For data-heavy content like FX rate tables or reconciliation summaries that we present in deck form, this is time-consuming and introduces a real risk of formatting errors or inconsistent headers between slides. Bringing the same table-breaking and repeating-header behaviour from Documents into Presentations would save significant manual formatting effort and reduce error risk when we need to present larger datasets. Please consider adding in this feature, as this would help us significantly.
1Isabel, what's the latest on this? This would be a game changer for us. The manual workaround is far from ideal. We have tried to move away from Presentations to Documents to address this issue, but it has not been received well, Presentations have their role in reporting and that's unlikely to change any time soon.
1Hi Jana, and Emma!
Thanks for the nudge here. At this time this functionality add remains proposed only with our product team and hasn't been picked up for additional consideration yet. I will be sure to share your feedback back and give this a little nudge to see if we can breath some life into it. I'll be sure to keep you apprised of any new movement.
