Is there a way to prevent a destination link from being deleted by an editor?
Suppose I have a document containing a section that has both native text and some destination links. I would like to allow an editor to edit the native text, but I do not want them to have any ability to delete the destination links.
My understanding of current default behavior is that the editor would not be able to change the content of the destination link, but *would* be able to delete the link (following a warning).
Is there a way to configure it so that the editor can neither change nor delete the destination link?

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your question! Today, Workiva does not have a way to prevent editors from creating/deleting links. I'd be happy to pass along this feedback to our product team, though. I've created a ticket for you, and we will keep you posted on any updates to this feature.
Happy Friday!
2Hi Liz Habel
Not sure if you still the right person but any update on this feature i.e. restrictions for editors to not accidently delete link?
Regards,
Omar
0Hi Omar Khan,
No update at this time but I can definitely add you as a user of interest!
0Hello Isabel, we would be also happy see a setting which would enable us to disable an editor to delete links. I think there are a couple of things related to link permissions which would be important to enhance in the software. I am thinking of for example disabling editors to publish links altogether on an optional basis. I just left a comment on an other community post just now.
Thank you and best regards,
Katalin
