That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to share that Workiva and EcoVadis have officially partnered to bring primary supplier carbon emissions data straight into your workspace! 🎉
As the first phase of a long-term collaboration to bridge the gap between supplier performance and corporate reporting, our team is in the early stages of designing and developing a direct integration between EcoVadis and the Workiva Platform. Our future vision is to allow mutual customers to automatically feed primary emissions data right into their Scope 3 calculations—completely skipping the manual copy-and-paste headache.
🚀Looking Ahead: Our Evolving Supply Chain Vision
As we kick off this new partnership, our product strategy is designed to grow alongside our customers' needs. Here is a directional look at how we are conceptualizing our long-term supply chain capabilities:
- Short-Term Vision: Connect supplier-level carbon emissions data via API Chains to power Scope 3 PGS calculations in Workiva Carbon.
- Long-Term Vision: We are exploring the development of a Workiva Supplier Hub—a centralized management portal intended to consolidate quantitative metrics and qualitative ratings from EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi, and other frameworks. As this partnership evolves, we also hope to explore deeper workflow efficiencies, such as the capability to manage EcoVadis scorecards directly within the Workiva platform.

- Check Your Licensing: To use this integration, you’ll just need your organization’s EcoVadis Carbon Action Manager license and a Workiva solution that supports Chains (which is already included in Sustainability Reporting and Carbon solutions!).

Are there any additional integrations with EcoVadis planned? It would be great to have something like CDP in the system to automate our disclosures.

You’re thinking along the same lines we are. Down the road, we'd love to look into those same kinds of workflow efficiencies for EcoVadis disclosures and scorecards. But because this partnership is so new, our first order of business is getting primary supplier data into the platform to power your Scope 3 calculations.
We're still in the early planning stages for anything beyond that, but knowing how much you value the CDP setup is super helpful context. I’ll make sure our product team hears this so they know exactly what's top of mind for you.

More simply - it would be wonderful to be able to tag Sustainability Platform metrics with Ecovadis topics from the Sustainability Explorer similar to how we tag for CDP, GRI, CSA. It would be helpful as we build our corporate disclosures to ensure topics cover the various sustainability reporting frameworks and standards. Workiva AI would be able to help determine reporting gaps and mock scoring.

Thank you for this feedback! You make a great point. Having EcoVadis integrated alongside CDP, GRI, and CSA in the Sustainability Explorer would be a huge help for gap analysis and corporate disclosures.
We don't have an update on the timeline for adding EcoVadis just yet, but I'll make sure to update this post as soon as there are any developments!
