Enhancement Request: Add Tracking for Changes in ESG Program with Responsible Person and Timestamp

Hi Team,

I would like to propose an enhancement that would greatly benefit our clients who rely on Workiva for managing their ESG programs.

Currently, there is no built-in functionality to track who made specific updates to the ESG program and when those changes were made. This gap makes it difficult to monitor, audit, and maintain accountability within the program.

It would be great if Workiva could introduce a feature that tracks changes in the ESG program, recording:

  1. The responsible person who made the change.

  2. The timestamp of when the change was made.

This enhancement would provide a clear audit trail and ensure full transparency for our clients, which is especially crucial in ESG reporting and compliance. It would also help streamline the management and oversight of ESG data, making it easier to manage updates and track progress over time.

Our client would greatly benefit from this improvement, as it would help ensure with clear accountability for each change made.

    Heads up that we have a similar feature — essentially an Activity Log for Sustainability Program — on the roadmap.
