About this Event

This training is designed for brand new Workiva users and admins who are just getting started working with the Workiva Controls Management solution. This training is NOT designed for experienced users and admins. The two-hour instructor-led course will allow you to learn in a space with your peers, ask questions and practice the skills you are learning in a training environment.

After attending this training event, each participant will be able to: 

• Leverage “My Dashboard” views to help manage work and track assignments
• Manage Controls Management data records by creating, editing, and viewing them, and collaborating using Comments.
• Create links to maintain accuracy and consistency between Control records, Narratives and other documents.
• Set up and execute a Process-based Certification, assign actions to individuals or groups, and track the progress of all tasks.
• Locate GRC Controls Management resources on the Home page, Support Center, and Learning Hub for ongoing support and continued learning.

This course is the first of a series of trainings designed to help new users become more familiar with GRC Controls Management. Future sessions will include the Testing Experience, and Dashboards/Reporting and Roles & Permissions for a full end-to-end understanding of the solution.
