Hi

We want to create a real time workflow with Salesforce by triggering a chain to execute based on an event in Salesforce. Salesforce provides two options to achieve this:

1. Outbound Message Actions

Outbound Message Actions (salesforce.com)

2. Change Data Capture

Salesforce Developers (CDC)

I wasn't able to find a specific Salesforce Trigger Event for either of these. 

Does Workiva support these two event types? (NB: Salesforce doesn't support webhooks)

    Hi Chad Weber, if either of the Salesforce options have the ability to make an HTTP Post request, you could trigger a Chain with a webhook. Here is more information on how to set up a webhook trigger event https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044660451-HTTP-Webhook-trigger-event.

    The Salesforce Outbound Messaging sends SOAP messages. Based on the link you've provided, it looks like the HTTP Webhook command only supports JSON.

    Salesforce Change Data Capture uses Publish/Subscribe communication, so I was hoping that there'd be a specific Salesforce command that could be used to subscribe to a channel.
