Multiple people in in one file causing slowness
Udzielono odpowiedziIn 2022, when Workiva was initially implemented at my company, they were using it as a sharepoint to sign off on completed tasks (not using the tasks feature in Workiva, just using a spreadsheet). They stopped doing this because multiple people were trying to filter on their name on the same spreadsheet at one time and it was causing issues. Now that my company is reimplementing Workiva, a coworker of mine is concerned about slowness in the platform because of this in the past. I told her this was most likely due to multiple people trying to filter on the same tab at the same time, and there should not be an issue if people are in different files or tabs within the same file. I was wondering if anyone could confirm this with me so I can reassure her, or if anyone has ever had any issues with having multiple people in the same file at once. Thanks!

The filter problem can be avoided in Spreadsheet by using filter views: Sort and filter spreadsheets – Support Center (workiva.com)
We experienced frustrations where the document is flowing, and then contributors add or delete content to previous sections and your view keeps shifting.
The only way I know to prevent this while there are multiple contributors and/or changing a lot of content is to use section breaks until you are ready to reflow the document.
One thing I've noticed is that when a browser has been open for a long time it does impact the performance within the Wdesk platform. Not sure if it a browser limitation.
